Our Forest and Allotment
Jessica Barrett-Morris and Ellis Tomes are our Forest School Leaders. Jessica leads Forest School for our 2 year old Caterpillar Provision and Ellis leads Forest School for our 3 year old Butterfly and Nook Provision. The team will offer our forest as a curious learning space for our children to be connected with nature. They will be learning skills in the forest that link to all the areas of learning of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
The children will have opportunities to connect and learn about the world around them. We will use the Forest through all of the seasons and observe and talk about the changes that occur.
Sue Carthy is our Allotment Lead for our 3 year old Butterfly and Nook Provision. The children have opportunities to learn about preparing, planting, growing, caring and harvesting plants, fruits, flowers and vegetables.
